ThreatReady’s goal is to mitigate your risk on the human side. Through a steady campaign of short yet engaging activities we educate your employees on key cyber security risks and continually nudge their behavior in a safe direction. This is not conventional annual or quarterly e-learning, but a deployment of a variety of multimedia awareness assets that are designed using advanced learning techniques and behavioral science methodologies. This entire campaign is managed and monitored by our professional Client Services team, that interact with you as frequently as required to customize, review and revise the ongoing campaign. Our content incorporates many of the principles outlined in various security frameworks including NIST, HIPAA, ISO and others. These frameworks all agree that an effective awareness campaign should target all employees, contractors and partners and the content should be amongst other things, engaging, continuous, short, simple and personal.

Close Up Videos
Check out an example of one of our short engaging multi-media pieces. Each video focuses on key security concepts meant to reinforce and build on previous instruction. We think we must have hit the right chord with this one – since most people tell us they ended up reevaluating all their personal and professional passwords after watching it! We have also provided you with a sample communication that would go to the employee to introduce the campaign asset they are receiving.
Check In Survey
We recommend using our opening and closing assessments designed to measure understanding and attitudes, and identify key changes in behavior. Our Client Services team can easily modify these to reflect company-specific risks and topics. At the end of your 12-month campaign – we compare the results from the 1st rollout of the survey to the 2nd rollout – to see where the needle has moved and where the focus should be as we plan for your next annual campaign. We have also provided you with a sample communication that would go to the employee to introduce the campaign asset they are receiving.
Interactive Courses
Our campaign offers quick, engaging courses that review the basics of how to identify and defeat key security threats. This format lends itself well to full customization and policy certification which our Client Services team will apply for you. This course has been very well received by employees – see what one of our clients had to say…
“The Defeating Cyber Attacks course secured the highest participation and was given a 5 star rating by the employees. Thank you all in the part you’ve played in this success.”We have also provided you with a sample communication that would go to the employee to introduce the campaign asset they are receiving.

This particular format utilizes humor to draw the learner in. We hope it will make you smile while you learn! Phishing Simulations
We believe practical tests such as Phishing, Vishing and USB Drops are an effective teaching tool and an important part of validating how your employee base is doing in their application of what they are learning. We can assist you in making these happen! Below is an example of an internal Phishing Simulation we offer. Your employees will receive the following email in their Inbox. If they fall for the phishing attempt and click on any of the links in the email, it will send them to a safe Oops page letting them know the mistake they made. Please click on a link in the email below to simulate the employee experience. Be sure to click on the ‘here’ hyperlink found on the last bullet on the Oops page – so you can see one of our short Phishing courses we offer learners who fall for the phishing attempt.

Cyber Wire Results
We believe practical tests such as Phishing, Vishing and USB Drops are an effective teaching tool and an important part of validating how your employee base is doing in their application of what they are learning. After running a simulation within your organization we recommend a week or so later you communicate the results company wide. Providing high level statistics of how many people were included in the test and how many fell victim to the attempt. See the image on the right for an example of one of these communications. We think this follow up communication is valuable to keep motivating employees to always be on the lookout and to work as a team to do better!
Threat Check Assessments
In our application of advanced learning techniques throughout our campaign – we decided to use our short quizzes not only to assess your employees understanding of key security concepts – but also to teach. It’s called Generation and it stimulates long-term retention by asking the question first and then doing the teaching. These are easily modified to reflect company-specific risks and topics. We have also provided you with a sample communication that would go to the employee to introduce the campaign asset they are receiving.
Make Me Care
People will only change their behavior if they believe their actions matter! These short video assets are crafted to shift your culture toward one where employees care to actively participate in your company’s cyber security defense. We have also provided you with a sample communication that would go to the employee to introduce the campaign asset they are receiving.
Cyber Wire Library
Teach by example… Pick from our library of True Story communications to show employees the creative ways hackers are successful – helping to ingrain in your employees an ever questioning attitude! Get them engaged with a quick yet interesting story to discuss with their co-workers or share with their family over dinner.
